Margaret Elizabeth Carter is a fictional graphic symbol appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is usually depicted as a supporting grapheme in books featuring Helm America. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, she debuted, unnamed, in Tales of Suspense #75 as a World War II love interest of Steve Rogers in flashback sequences. She would later on be better known as a relative of Captain America's modernistic-day significant other, Sharon Carter.

Hayley Atwell portrays the Curiosity Cinematic Universe version of the character, Margaret "Peggy" Carter.
